Conference Venue

All conference activities, including registration,
will take place at the
Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre
(street address: Messuaukio 1, Helsinki).

Please see the tab Receptions for the location of receptions.

There are exceptions for three ICT workshops, please see below.

To reach Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre from Helsinki city centre, take tram 7A, 7B or 9 or any commuter train. From Pasila station, there is a 300-metre walk to Messukeskus (see the map below). From the Helsinki-Vantaa airport, the I and P trains reach Pasila station in about 30 minutes.

Enter the Conference Venue through the Congress Centre doors (to the right of Holiday Inn, on Rautatieläisenkatu).

A taxi from the airport to Messukeskus takes about 15 minutes.

The Ring Rail Link was opened in July 2015. Construction is still ongoing to finish the direct entrance from the terminals to the Airport station. It will be completed later in the autumn. Now there is a free shuttle bus to take you from the airport terminal to the Helsinki Airport station. (See more here.)

For more information about commuting in Helsinki, please see Travel on our website, or travel and parking info and area map on the conference venue website.

Lunch will be provided on site through a buffet arrangement (purchased at additional cost at the time of registration).

You can see the menu from Fazer for the ESERA week here.

WiFi access is available throughout the conference venue, free of charge.

Exceptions: Three ICT workshops on Wednesday morning (2 Sept. 9:00-10:30)

Three ICT workshops require a computer lab. These workshops will held in the University in the following rooms and addresses:
